NetSupport DNA uses TCP/IP and UDP protocols to transfer data between the DNA Agent, DNA Server and DNA Console.

NetSupport DNA Server
Listens on port 6000 (TCP/UDP) for connections from the Agent and DNA Console.
Connects to the Agent on port 6001 (TCP/UDP) when collecting data.
Connects to the DNA Local Gateway on port 6010.
Listens on port 1743 for connections from Chrome/iOS devices.
Sends UDP packets on port 6003.

NetSupport DNA Agent (Client)
Listens on port 6001 (TCP/UDP) for connections from the DNA Server and DNA Console.
Connects to the DNA Server on port 6000 (TCP/UDP).
Listens on port 6003 (UDP) for messages from the DNA Server and DNA Console.
Remote control port 6007 (TCP/UDP).

NetSupport DNA Console
Connects to the DNA Server on port 6000 (TCP/UDP).
Connects to the Agent on port 6001 (TCP/UDP).
Sends UDP packets on port 6003.

The DNA Server connects to the Agent to collect inventory/metering data. If the DNA Server can’t connect to the Agent, the Agent will upload its data the next time it connects.

NetSupport DNA Local (Server) Gateway
Connects to the DNA Server on port 6000.
Connects to the DNA Remote Gateway on port 80.

NetSupport DNA Remote (Agent) Gateway
Connects to the DNA Agent on port 6001.
Connects to the DNA Local Gateway on port 80.

NetSupport DNA Web Server
Listens on port 80 for connections from the DNA Mobile Console app.

NetSupport DNA SNMP Server
Uses UDP port 161 for general SNMP messages.
Uses UDP port 162 for SNMP trap messages.

Note: Software Distribution uses port 6002 (TCP) when sending a package from the DNA Console to the DNA Server, or from the DNA Server to the DNA Agent. This is temporary and is only used when a package is being transferred.
